Alessandro Secci was born in Firenze, 1965. After a degree from the Accademia di Belle Arti di Firenze in the Sculpture department, he went on to study Music and Theater at the Univerity of Florence.

Since the 1990s, he began his creative path with various theater companies and art galleries including Galleria Continua, Galleria Diecidue, Galleria Infantellina-Stain, Galleria La Corte, Galleria Margiacchi, Galleria Via Farini, Galleria Unimedia, noted for refined work and original methods of expression:

My work interacts between design and sculpture and is inspired by the idea of transformation as a form of research. When I work, I consider the objects that I make as testimony of the infinite movement in art and its inevitable frailty. The sculpture work is constructed of the repitition of forms and the transformation of objects. Doing so suggests multiple interpretations with semantic ambivalence. Playing on words enhances a sense of humor often found in the work. Drawing is the basis of all my works -- it reveals and catalyzes the idea. In the recent monochrome works of white on white paper show their expression through the light that animates the thickness of the lines.
