SACI Admissions Coordinator Position (Part-Time Seasonal)

Position Overview

The Admissions Coordinator works approximately 20 hours per week out of the SACI NY Admissions office August-November and January-June. The Admissions Coordinator reports to the Assistant Director of Admissions, and works closely with the Assistant Director of Admissions on document collection and filing, application processing, packet preparation and mailing, fulfillment of materials requests, data entry and basic research, and general administrative office tasks; answers and directs phone calls; and performs other duties as assigned to ensure the proper function of the office.  The ideal candidate will be a team player with an art and administrative background (preferably a SACI alumnus).  Ideal for an artist seeking a part time position, or a graduate student.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal and writing skills, including the ability to represent the institution in a positive way to diverse populations via email and phone communications
  • Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and willingness to learn technology and data driven systems.
  • Art background, prior study abroad experience, and administrative experience preferred
